Solana Energy Generation Inc.

Solana Energy Generation Inc has all its capital owned by Elin Inc, and it generates solar electricity in a 3,08 MW licensed power plant based in Karapınar, Konya

Afta Energy Production Inc. and Solana Energy Generation Inc. were awarded a capacity in the solar power prelicensing competition held by Turkish Electricity Transmission Company in 2015 to allocate a licensed capacity of 600 MW, by promising an average contribution margin of 1.967.870 TRY/MW and a total of TRY 23.693.164,60.

The facilities established in Karapınar district of Konya province are the first Solar Power Plants to be put into operation within the Karapınar Renewable Energy Resource Area.

The power plant has an installed capacity of 16.80 MWp and is expected to generate 27.516.000 kWh energy annually. It produces 11.760.000 kg less CO2 carbon emission thanks to the renewable energy generation.
